In the latest Famitsu magazine, Nomura was interviewed about Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

This week’s Famitsu has 18 pages of new FFXIII content in it, and like usual it got leaked! The scan focusses on the new character Oerba Yun Fang and her summon Bahamut! Furthermore they go in detail about Sazh summon Brunhilde. It’s surprising to see 2 summons, both in normal and gestalt mode, unveiled on the same day!

Furtermore the scans features on the city Palum Polum, after 4 years we finally get to see some towns with people!

14/10/2009:
2 FFXIII scans leaked today revealed the name of the mysterious woman who was first seen at the end of the TGS09 trailer. Her name is Oerba Yun Fang. Strangely Vanille’s name is Oerba Dia Vanille. Those who have been watching the "Special" section of the Official FFXIII Japanese website would have seen a new addition recently. Square has annouced "Special #4": a series of short stories, leading up to the starting point of XIII, with the first one called "Episode Zero: Promise".

Hooray! Valkyria Chronicles 2 is going to make it out of Japan! Thank god for that.

Sega made the official annoucement only a few days ago, and while there's still no word yet on a european release, it shouldn't be far away. Square Enix recently held a "FFXIII Premier Party", where a ton of new information and media was released:

                      


Two new demos were shown: one showing Snow fighting through some ruins, and another featuring Lightning, battling in a military base with trucks and sewers. Square Enix today, accidentaly, revealed the release date for Final Fantasy XIII.

This release date was hidden in an add that would be revealed tomorrow. This advert didn’t contain a release date except for a text that the release date will be revealed tomorrow:

A new scan for Final Fantasy XIII got leaked and was soon picked up by various Japanese message boards. It contains new screenshots of the "paradigm shift". This function allows the player to assign roles to each player to suit the battle. This adds a little bit of strategy to the battle and acts as the traditional jobs in the Final Fantasy Series. This scan is from Shonen Jump so expect a more lenghty article from Famitsu in a few days.
