Admittedly, that last one cracked me up.  I'm still laughing aloud, lol.

 

That second one is a CLASSIC in the FF7 community. The pic is older than dirt too! He will never be able to wash away the memory of Internet infamy.

 

I've seen ladders smaller than those!

 

I died at the last one.

 

Are they compensating for something? :P
They could have at least made some decent handles for those... fail lol

Cosplay.  The height of geekdom.  Even the well thought out and best executed ones look just hilarious.  I laughed at these pictures long and hard (perhaps another swordlike reference..)  And Sol, Project, if you get your cosplay pictures of you dressed up as a Pokemon or some such thing, it would go very far in my personal amusement.  So...ya.  Get on it huh?

 

I might dress up as someone who kills Pokemon and drag around the severed head of Pikachu. Yeah, that'd be cool.

But no, I won't be Cosplaying any time soon. I still have a small amount of dignity left (though it's kinda dusty and starting to smell).

 

Two funny things about the last photo:
- It's probably the most accurate in term of proportion sword/man than the other photos. The original sword is actually that big (maybe a little more tradeoff between the edge and the handle in favor of the last).
- The character in the original serie actually use the sword in the first few encounter with the main character, then, for all the serie until the end, he will fight bare handed without the lack of sword being a problem. It's funny that it's always portraied with the sword.
