PAL-region Final Fantasy fans rejoice, you'll only have to wait just over a week longer than US gamers to get your fighting fix. The PSP title will first release on August 25 in the US and then PAL gamers will get it on September 4.

Dissidia box

The other exciting Dissidia news is a report of all the bells and whistles included in the Limited Edition. Here's a rundown of the extras included:

*Final Fantasy Dissidia in a super duper special edition clamshell box
*A CD with a selection of tracks from the game
*A hard cover artbook containing nearly 50 pages of game artwork
*An official game guide
*Two lithograph prints

Sounds like Square's pulling out all the stops to prevent piracy and make some extra GP on this one. Anybody planning on purchasing the special edition?

The artbook sounds sweet! Though I doubt I'll be picking this one up. Yet.

That does sound rather snazy, and I agree the artbook does sound like it could be a deal breaker. With all those extra add-ons though, there's no doubt this will probably be around $80 or so. I'm just ready for the game to get released as it feels like its taking forever. I can't wait to play as Gabranth.
